    Hi Lia

Yes it was this dress - https://www.karenmillen.com/womens/dresses

Its gorgeous and my CB will wear it again which is nice she works in fashion as an agent so bonus to find a dress she likes!!! The only thing im worried about is the shinyness of the fabric against my dress which is taffeta so very matt we will have to have a look. Then if its ok just wait fir the sales ive already found it on ASOS with 20% off.....

Exeter for wedding shopping their is only a handfull of wedding shops but im looking high street as i want things people will use/wear again dont see the point in spending all that money and they only wear it once!!!

Yeah TK Maxxx one of mine and my CB places to visit and spend hours!!!

    Hiya Kerry

God that dress is gorgeous, i love all three colours - I would definately wear it again after a wedding! In fact I am gonna watch out for that one in the sale myself! Cant believe you've found it on ASOS already with 20% off thats mad eh? I know what you are saying about the shiny vs matt thing - you will just have to wait and see what you can find?

Try House of Fraser as well there is Karen Millen in there too? and nice shoes..... even Debenhams is worth a try, Butterfly by Matthew Williamson is nice and so is Ben de Lisi.

Let me know how you get on!!

    Hey Kerry

Well today we have discussed having our neice and nephew involved in the wedding, our nephew is going to be 18 and we have already chosen him as an usher, but we have decided that to even things out it would be nice to ask his sister our neice who will be 16 to be my CBM, she is great with my girls and could organise them for me in the daytime with photos etc.

Have looked for a pink dress which will not be too babyish for her but on the other hand, not be too grown up!

Saw this [View:http://www.debenhams.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/product_10001_10001_18773_1065643_-1:550:0] I think it comes with detachable straps?

Will show her this at the weekend and wait patiently for it to go into the sales after xmas.......

I thought I would share it with you because of the hot pink thang!!

    Hiya Kerry

Yeah I cant wait to ask them at the weekend they are gonna be well chuffed!!

I ordered those bm dresses and they came today!! I am really pleased with them what a bargain! Just need to get the sashes and accessories, but prob after xmas now......

Anyway, we went to the registry office today to give notice whoo whoo!!! It feels really official today!! On the way home we popped into a family run suit hire shop and I made OH try on a suit with all the trimmings! He wanted a 3/4 length straight hem jacket, but he said he felt he looked like a wheelie bin!!!!? pmsl!! So they recommended the jacket with the tails and it looked great! They added a bit of the fushia into the lapel button hole to represent a corsage button hole and it looked really good. And they gave us a really good quote for the 5 suits we need - so had a good day as far as the wedding goes!!!

So are you selling your house atm then?

    Hi Lia

Whooop whoop its great giving notice it feels so real except my experience was tainted by a horrible Registra interfering and telling me how the logistics of where i was getting married 'just didnt work' anyway a few tears and one complaint letter later and its all sorted.

Wow im having tails ..........sorry OH is having tails lol!!! How good what the price if you dont mind me asking i was looking at Moss Bros which is £75 for the package.

Yeah house has been on the market for almost 2 years on and off!!! But we were in no rush to sell and as we both work in the industry Construction/ Demolition we know just how difficult it is anyway a friend has now set up his own estate agency so we are going with him.......

    Hiya Kerry

I remember reading your registrar post, who the hell does she think she is? As the old saying goes 'if youve got nothing nice to say dont say anything' !! Just ignore her!

Mine was quite forthcoming with unwanted opinions too. Ending up talking about my daughter's school, for some reason, and discussing the fact of them not getting into the follow on comprehensive next door? None of your business my darlin! Anyway it is done and dusted now and have received the paperwork in the post regarding the ceremony. Weird seeing the vows which will be said on the day. Am looking into music for the ceremony now, dont know where to start with that!?

Yes tails.............. I was quoted £400 for 5 suits, that includes jacket, trousers, shirt, tie/cravat, cufflinks and waistcoat which equates to £80 pp. I am happy with that. They can rent shoes for £8 if they want aswell (when would a women ever rent shoes!! makes me laugh). Try the family run suit hire shops in your area if you have any, they will often price match with the big names.

Good luck with selling your house, thats a bonus if your friend is an estate agent eh!

    Hi Lia

Yeah she was awful, was randomely telling soemone about it and they said i bet you thats the same person that tried to convince my daughter to have both her and her OH surnames as the babys surname just in case they split up ....WTF !! She needs sacking!!!

Saw the Karen Millen dress today and its lovely but apparently wont be in the sale....so Bay of E it is~!!!!

Popped into Moss Bross whilst in Exeter got quoted £100 per suit !!! for Tails, Waistcoat, Cravat, Tophat & Shirt etc!! Ive got 6 men maybe 7!!! Thats a lot of ££££, will be shopping around me thinks ....

Im trying to think of vows etc to fill 30 minutes i dont like the idea of readins etc its not me so need to have a think its scary how quickly you can get married in!!!

Have fun at the wedding show tommorrow let us know if you see anything interesting

    Hiya Kerry

Shame about the Karen Millen dress - do you think they were just saying that to make you buy it at the full price.................................................................. me thinks so? !!

Ive heard about MB with the suits and you have to pay a big deposit up front as well and that you must read the small print, for some reason, dont know why. Thats a lot of money for all those suits isnt it. Did they not offer you the groom suit free? Like I said make sure you try the small family businesses as well who will be glad of your custom and will probably price match to keep you.

I was searching for ceremony readings this morning and I was like wtf!!! None of it is floating my boat, maybe something from a film will be better? depends which film obviously!! What did Shrek and Fiona say for their vows lol?!?!

I dont want the ceremony to be done and dusted in 15 mins either, I want to pack it out with some music to make it actually memorable!!

I will report back about the show tomorrow!!
