I dont have anything planned as such......I've had a PGCE student for over a month so managed to get tons done already Smiley smile

I've also got a year to go and desperate to get as much sorted asap ( im even starting to make all my decorations, no idea where im going to store it all)

personally I cant wait to have it all sorted ad planned, far less to worry about.

We've got quite a few things planned and booked already - bridesmaid dresses are bought, venue is booked, band and photographer are booked, save the date cards have been sent and I think I've chosen my dress. I reckon I might go to a couple of other shops just to check the dress I love is definitely 'the dress' before I order it. I might start looking for gifts for the bridal party too and any other little things that can be bought or at least decided on in advance. We don't get married until Aug 2012, but I'm HoD from September so want to be as organised as I can be now so that I still do a good job at school without being completely wedding obsessed!

My plan is.... to get married!! yeah! my timetable has really dropped now since a-level and GCSE students left, so only have 7 hours of timetabled lessons now, so can squeeze wedding stuff in between planning new schemes and courses!

Not all of us 'teachers' get the summer holidays off! I'm a teacher/trainer/lecturer not a schoolteacher, and I don't get 6 weeks of summer to plan weddings :-(. If fact I'm busy covering other people's job because everyone else in on leave!

But at least I don't have to have a summer holiday wedding. (Ironically, our wedding is October half term - nothing to do with schools, but thats just the date we wanted)

I will be using the summer holiday to get a few things done. Dress mainly, but also bridesmaid, flowers, honeymoon and stationary, ready for July 2012 wedding.

I am hoping to get most of it done then, as we are expecting an inspection at easter time, so want as little stress then as possible!

Im a teacher! I am getting married August 2012 and so far have done nothing, including book the venue!

I cant make my mind up about where I want, or find anywhere perfect in budget, so will probably spend the summer hols venue searching if I havent chosen by then! Luckily we want a week day in August so not so much of a rush to get booked!

I'm an HLTA hitcher so I teach a double lesson every day, so I like to think of myself as an unqualified teacher Smiley laugh all I've done so far is book the date for next August and bought my dress, although I'm not sure about it now.

Roll on the summer holidays I say!

Aw bless you don't be embarrassed ? welcome to the Family! ? I will become a Henden on 4th August next year!!

I don't know many Hawes' all my cousins are from dad's sister or my mum.☹️ I think there were lots in Kent and a few in the Bristol area?

That's quite exciting its not a very common name there's not many of us out there I don't think. Keeley Hawes is the only famous one I can think of.
