Calling jewellery HIBs (tiara/hairband and bridesmaid jewellery)

SoontobeMrsB, 10 August, 2011 at 21:55 Posted on Planning 0 4

I've got a tiara which I've now gone off and am looking for a hairband type thing to match with my jewellery a bit better.

My jewellery is like this: (it's a bit hard to tell but it's little pearls and floral crystals)

I'm looking now looking for something to sit in my hair like this:

Any ideas/prices/suggestions?

I'm also starting to think about getting my bridesmaids some jewellery as part of their gifts. Their dresses are:

I'm not really sure what style would work with the straigh neck but would probably be looking for necklace and earrings, possible bracelet. Have got them other presents so hoping to avoid spending mega-bucks (not to sound tight!)

Hope someone can help

    Hiya

I have a tiara band called "Glamour Puss" that uses freshwater pearls and Swarovski crystals. It's a really versatile band and can be worn as a tiara or band with various hair styles. This is £40.

    Glamour Puss:

With regards to your bridesmaids, it's done to personal preference but I like to keep things classic with a dress like this and rather than include e.g. coloured crystals I'd opt for a classic pearl necklace like "Hepburn" http://www.louloubelle.co.uk/necklaces_bridal.html#necklaces_hepburn

Or something like "Stephanie" would look beautiful http://www.louloubelle.co.uk/necklaces_bridal.html#necklaces_stephanie

I hope those ideas help. Depending on how many bridesmaids you have I could probably work out a discount too. If I can help at all please drop me an email on ****@***********.**.**

I have a couple of side tiaras with pearls on here https://www.3djewellery.co.uk/index_files/side_headbands_diamante_crystal.htm but they are quite elaborate.

However here are some necklace sets which may be suitable for your bridesmaids without breaking the bank

I am also getting some single row stretch diamante bracelets in about a fortnight too.

    Hi,

I could certainly help with your bridesmaid jewellery & I am doing a 3 for 2 on all bridesmaid pieces this month.

I have a few sets on my website already but feel free to get in touch to discuss some bespoke pieces making that would suit.

    Hi SoontobeMrsB,

You've been spoilt with choice already but I'll suggest a few things from my website. My 'Kerr' design is tightly packed with swarovski pearls and crystals and has been a real hit with Hitchers http://lynseysdesigns.co.uk/wp-content/plugins/fgallery/fim_photos.php?album=tiaras&image=DSCF1215.JPG This design can be mase without so many beads which reduces the cost as well as making it a bit more delicate.

This is more delicate and is available in ivory pearls and crystals (I do have photographs I can show you of the ivory version)

Or a double band which can be worn as a hairband or angled more like a tiara so it is really versatile You'll find the double bands in here http://lynseysdesigns.co.uk/wp-content/plugins/fgallery/fim_photos.php?album=tiaras

All the designs can be adapted to use any combination of materials from Swarovski Pearls, Swarovski Crystals or Diamontes.

For your bridesmaids I'd suggest something quite simple and either in the same colour as the dress or clear or ab swarovski crystals which the bm's can then wear again and again and colours below can be changed.

This is a really budget friendly design which is always good I think and I offer hitchers a discount on multiple sets

This is inspired by SATC as it's similar to what Carrie wore and is available in the AB crystals as shown or Clear Swarovski Crystals.

All designs can have a charm added with their initial on it or even 'bridesmaid' engraved onto a love heart which is good if you'd like to personalise the gifts

You've mentioned flowers are used in your necklace so the bridesmaids could even have something to compliment that. This is a mock up which was to show another hitcher

Sorry for so many pictures, got a bit carried away there! Have a look at my website www.lynseysdesigns.co.uk for inspiration and facebook is full of previous designs https://www.facebook.com/media/albums/?id=138437779505448. I offer a bespoke service which means you can adapted designs or have something new created and this service is free. I also have a try before you buy service if you wanted to try on tiaras before committing to an order.

Don't hesitate to ask if you need any help or prices. Lynsey x
