I'd love a Cambridge meet! Weekend would definitely be best for me as I work late most evenings. I'm not sure what weekends I'm free, though I will get a move on and find out ASAP. I know I definitely can't do the 16th/17th August - it's a bit far away anyway but thought I should mention it.

Sounds ideal to me. Any ideas where to meet? I don't know Cambridge at all so haven't the faintest idea where is good.

That sounds ok with me too.

I have no idea about recommendations as I dont know the area all that well (for that read, not at all!)

On a separate note Dr S T how are you settling in in your new place? It's kind of strange to 'know' of someone who lives in the same village as me!

Oooh I hadn't realised you were in the same place as me Kimmy, that does seem weird! We're settling in very well thanks, it's nice and quiet and lots of pretty places to go running. I really don't know why some people dislike it so much. Which bit are you in, or is that a bit too much info for the whole of Hitched to read?!?

If it is going to be a pain for all to get intot twon we could do something else?

I was thinking of a pub called 'The Mill' it is close to the river and is just quite pleasant.

Access from Trumpington St / Kings Parade - Closest Parking is Grand Arcade.

I'm in LC, can normally be found being dragged around the Country Park by my dogs.

Which part did you go for, LC, UC or GC?

? Hello!! I'd love to come for a Cambridge meet, as I work and live around there..

However, I'm a bit stuck for dates, as Jnr Smith and stepdaughter are coming down for 3 weeks on the 26th July.. So it wouldn't be til late August I could go (don't really want to do evenings as I'm nackered enough as it stands!)

We could always meet in The JD Wetherspoons that is The Regal ?

Town is fine for me, I'll get the other Dr Tiger to drop me off and collect me ? I'm actually really looking forward to going out in town as I haven't done it yet.

Kimmy - we're also in LC, you may have seen me "running" i.e. dragging myself round the park with a bright red face in an attempt to improve my fitness ?

So shall we say 8pm at The Mill friday 8th August? or do people want to be more central? So we can go somewhere else.

The reason for Choosing the Mill was that if it is nice you can sit out by the river etc...

Sounds good to me, I have no idea where that is but that's what Google maps are for ?

Kimmy - let me know if you want a lift there and/or back. It's no trouble and I promise I won't make you into slippers.

I'd love to too, if that's ok ? I'm not in Cambridge yet, but could do a weekend since we're spending them in Cambridge from now until we move!
