Cambridge(shire) bands / DJs?

Hey! Can anyone recommend a good band or DJ based in or near Cambridge?

We'd love a funk/soul/reggae band but we're open to anything that isn't too cheesy!

    We got married in Royston and we had www.thebears.uk.com - they're not funk, soul or reggae but there are 100% cheese free! My #1 priority for a band when we got married was no cheese whatsoever and this band sound like their online demo and we had so many compliments about them on the day.

    You have good taste kirstabubble ? We had a couple of musicians in their own bands come to our wedding and they gave the big thumbs up to the Bears too. Your evening reception will definately rock the house!!!

    Hi, thanks for the recommendation! They're not the style we're looking for but they do look good Smiley smile

    A friend recommended Charlie and the Funk Factory, they look great but sadly not available on our date.

    We went to a wedding fair at Madingley Hall today, and we met a DJ from Disco Wed (www.discowed.com), they seem really good. We're probably gona book them - it'll be a relief to get the music sorted and move onto the next thing!

    Glad you've got things sorted out. ..

    I used to work there - Madingley Hall.... do you know they have a pet cemetary in the gardens complete with headstones (one for a frog!!) Smiley smile
