Can anyone help?

missmidwife, 16 June, 2010 at 17:22 Posted on Planning 0 7

Hiya

My theme is snowflakes and sparkles and teal and silver as my colour scheme. I am looking for a snowflake flowergirl wand, Ive only manage to find one by google and it was way out of my budget. My daughter will only be 18 months so I dont want anything huge or very expensive incase she looses it.

Can anyone help me find one?

Thank you

Nickie.

    Hi!

I am having snowflakes and pine cones. Try this website - I got most of my stuff from them:

    Good luck!

Your florist might be able to make a wee thing suitable, or might be able to bring something in that she could use as well in your bouquet so it would actually be a match! If you're kind of set on a snowflake, try Christmas decorations, as you get some lovely wee fabric ones that you could fashion into a little something for your daughter to carry - it could then become a door hanger!!

I do this type but they're a bit big for 18 months old. I wouldn't recommend anything metal though for someone so young.

If you are a bit creative, go to hobby craft and ask for some of thier christmas dec stock-My friend did this for a snowflake wand (for a christmas panto) all you need is a piece of dowling, a snowflake decoration and silver spray and ribbons to decorate. otherwise get a cheap fairy wand and stick on a snowflake decoration, which you could get on ebay or maybe even ask places like B&Q or Homebase if they still have some in the warehouse?

    Good luck! x

    Hi,

I can certainly help you out. These are previous wands I've made and I've also got a new design going on the website soon.

Obviously the ones above are hearts but creating a snowflake in your colours isn't a problem.

My website is http://lynseysdesigns.co.uk/ and if you want to drop me an email my address is ******@**************.**.**.

    Hope that helps

    Lynsey x
