For my 40th birthday in the summer my husband took me to Tortworth court(http://tortworth-court-hotel.four-pillars.co.uk/) Its in Gloucester. It was a fantastic place and we had a wonderful time. Not sure it has a hot tub though. I can highly recommend it

spent the weekend there with the girls a few weeks ago. Hot tub is great! Theres a bar/restaurant nearby and York is around 6 miles away if you fancy venturing out.

We stayed here and it is lovely - no hot tub but fab location in the centre of york (has parking if you need it) and is right near their restaurant which is my fave in york. Lovely decor and all mod cons. You get a full English breakfast to cook yourself which was ace

Another vote for griffon forest, we went there for our honeymoon, gorgeous cabin, kingsize four poster, jacuzzi in the bedroom, hot tub outside - flowers, champagne and chocolates, bath robes
