Can anyone recommend a magician in Surrey? THANK YOU INSPIRE ME DESIGNS

Hi Ladies and Gents

Were looking for a magician to come to entertain our guests during our drinks reception for a couple of hours. Our wedding is in the Surrey area and I wondered if anyone had any recommendations? We have had quotes from one very good magician we met at a wedding fair but his price was £450 for 2 hours which was slightly expensive for us but maybe we're just being tight?

Anyway if anyone could help we would be very grateful! x

Hiya

I must admit, Mike Stoner is brilliant. I have got to know him quite well as we usually hit the same wedding fairs and have watched him work a lot. He is great.

There is a guy called Nick Crown (google him - his website should come up) He was amazing and i THINK a little cheaper than your quote from what i remember.

Check out Lewis Swires, a professional close up magician that I met at the Croydon Aerodrome wedding fayre last weekend. He was a really nice lad! www.lewisswires.co.uk

We have booked a guy called Thomas Wright www.tommymagic.co.uk

He is based in Lincolnshire but I know he often travels to perform.

We first saw him at a friends wedding, and everyone was blown away by him. So much so we booked him that week to perform at our wedding, despite it being 20 months away!

We are paying £250 for a 1.5 - 2 hour slot.

Hi,

I see you have booked a magician which is great, I think a magician is a brilliant way to keep your guests entertained whilst all the photos are being taken etc as all they are doing is hanging around and chatting. So a magician milling around really keeps the day ticking along.

What did you end up paying?

I guess there's loads of good magicians out there but one I have first hand experience of is Kerry Scorah. She's based in Gloucestershire but travels all over the UK performing - And quite frankly she's a brilliant magician and a real laugh with it!
