Can I have a proud mum moment please?

I've just received a letter saying that a poem Owen (my nearly 4 year old) "wrote" at playgroup is to be published in a book "Me and My Family - Little Voices from Merseyside".?

I know he didn't actually write it, just filled in the blank bits but even so....

I've got to sign a copyright/permission form to send back to the publishers and everything - maybe he's going to be a literary genius ?

Here's the poem....

My name is Owen and I go to preschool in the day

When I'm there I like to make towers and play

Bella and Ben are my best friends

My dad picks me up when the day ends

My family are happy, there are 6 of us in all

My favourite person is my daddy, who is really cool

We love to play with the blocks together

If I could I'd play forever

My favourite meal is spaghetti, because it is yum

Helping Mummy cook is always lots of fun

I help by putting the food in the pans while she does the rest

When we work together it always turns out best

As a family Egypt is where we like to visit

We always have sweets, I wouldn't want to miss it

I would like to take my friend Ben to our favourite place

I know he would also think its really ace

This is my first poem all about me and my family

I hope you enjoyed it ust as much as me.

I'm all bleary eyed now ?

How cool is that?? Although before you sign the form I think I would get him to change one line to "my favourite person is Mummy" ?
