Can I join in the challenge?

sydneygirl, 4 March, 2009 at 14:35 Posted on Beauty & Wellbeing 0 2

Hi all,

I've recently had a baby and and am now embarking on WW (on line) to try and shed extra pounds put on through pregnancy (not huge amounts) and also lose the unnecessary gallons of wine I was carrying around prior to falling pregnant! My first goal is 10 kilos (1.6 stone) which I'd like to lose by the middle of May before visitors arrive from Australia. Ultimately, I'd like to lose 20kilos, by December in time for my holiday back home.

Everyone seems super supportive which may negate the need to pay £5.50 to attend classes! Looking forward to sharing and reading everyone's tips.

    ? Hello Sydney. Welcome.

I'm at the beginning of my journey but have found people on here really helpful too. I'm also trying to lose baby bulge (it's still here 20 months after giving birth ? ) I'm aiming for July, but judging by my efforts this week it may take a little longer. I'm just having one of those 'hungry' weeks when you can't seem to stop grazing!! I'm off for weigh-in at WW tomorrow and if it's not good, then I'll just have to make a better effort next week. Good luck with your new eating plan. I Look forward to chatting with you on here ?

Since you're looking ahead, I'd advise signing up to the monthly pass, the esource is excellent and you can track and motivate yoursef online. It also makes your weekly cost only £4.14, so more support for less buck!

Good luck with it, I've found WW really easy to follow and have lost 21lbs since January.

Thanks both. I've used WW before and found it really good. I've signed up for 2 weeks free and see how I go with the on-line function and then sign up for the three months offer they are doing at the moment.

I had a great day, but, as usual my problem was my portions for dinner - I had unnecessary seconds. At least no vino to wash it down with! lol

JenB - 21lbs - WOW! that's really fantastic. I'm hoping the weather gets better so I have no excuse to go walking.
