We've got Spurs legends as our table names and i'm having a cake topper made with the spurs chirpy.

It's the onlyinput OH has really had so thought i better let him have it, lol!!

How about: 'Today I am marrying the one I love, my partner, my best friend'

i love the idea of quotes as table names (shame am not having a wedding breakfast).

But if this is something that your H2B really wants they why not do a comprise to include your favours as well - if youve not sorted them out.

Make your own table names things with one side football player - one side your quotes especailly if your doing them from love films like moulin rouge then for your favours you could get the men those football sticker books with a packet of stickets ( i know they dont sound impressive but my H2B walked past some the other day and it brought back memories for him from when he was a kid swapping them with friends) and its a fun thing that will mean something to your hubby. and get the ladies something to do with quote or the film it came from like you can get Keyring outters from ebay and make keyrings that on oneside have the quote and maybe a pic from the film and on the other your names and date etc (women tend to appericate this kind of thing more than blokes).

Wont be showing OH this post, he would love the Man U legends idea, but i like the love quotes, i think its quite sweet. nothing too cheesy though!

I cant think of anything other than "better to have loved and lost, than never to have loved at all" but thats really not suitable.

"friends are the family we choose for ourselves" would be ok on a table of close friends??

I don't mind the united legends it's just that I don't want people to think that is the theme we went for if you get me?? I thought about having the pic of the legend on one side and a love quote on the other but thought it may be too much and a little confusing

Ooh you lot are ace! i have just OH if he would like the tables named after Leeds utd legends and he nearly wet himself with excitement!!

I used to do that too - I have a book where I wrote them down. I still have it somewhere.
