Can I see photos of your gardens please?

LizBjk, 23 April, 2009 at 16:52 Posted on Off Topic Posts 0 7

Or any before and afters? We're going to be sorting our out over the next two months. It's on two levels and all concrete. We're on a budget. I know roughly what I want to do, but any photos for inspiration would be great if anyone is willing to share?

Thanks muchly. ?

Still not finished as we have to get rid of all the crap at the back and put a shed in there, and sort the garage. And the gate went up today which I don't have a photo of yet. But to date (all done in the last 2 months) here are our changes....

Ours is a typical new build garden. Square patch of lawn with flower border all around the edge and 6 square stones, which are supposed to represent a patio but is too small to even fit a chair on. really rather boring actually. Sorry no pictures

We live in a terrace so don't have much of a garden size wise but MiL has worked long and hard on it and it looks beautiful, especially in spring/early summer when there is lots of colour.

Ours was truly horrendous, all gravel and concrete slabs.

We had a company come in and I have to say they were a bargain! We then did all the planting and I love it. It's a tiny garden but they've made a great use of the space and it's such a sun trap everything blooms!.

Mrs Magic, just looking through your flickr photos. They are stunning. And a huge help, thank you so much. Going to start picking up our seeds/ plants this weekend and didn't have a clue what to get. You've given me a starting point. I love so many of them. I feel the budget has just gone out the window. ?

Ours isn't exactly spectacular, but it's low maintenance and looks alright. It' a new build and this was what it was like when we moved in

And this is the after -oh, well actually during because I only just realised we don't have any pictures of it now it's finished. We now have plants in the borders and the decking is done properly rather than just laid on the lawn.
