Can I see your wallpaper please?

cornflake girl, 1 February, 2009 at 20:46 Posted on Off Topic Posts 0 19

We're planning on papering just the chimney breast wall in a very striking colour - well black with a pattern on it actually. It will be really dramatic but I have no idea how it will impact on the room (which is quite big). Anyone else got rather striking wallpaper that looks good? Would love to see any pics you have.

This is our bedroom - not a specific shot of it but you can see it reasonably well - it's choc brown rather than black though

Our walls are all plain CFG. I'm loving Rooby's though!

I have a very dramtic charcoal paper on one wall, i was scared it would make the room dark(only one small window) but its actually made it seem brighter and bigger..the other 3 walls are white x

That is lovely. You've matched it really nicely with your accessories.

This is the one we're quite keen on. You can't see in the picture but the paper is matt black and the design is black gloss.

This is our bedroom, I love the wallpaper although I am not sure it is striking as such.

We're planning on having the same in our lounge. I've seen lots of lovely styles on Graham & Brown, especially in their "Drama" collection

I don't have a picture, my camera is broken, but I have almost identical paper on my chiney breast, ours is matt black with a raised flock type black design (the same design as yours). I love it. It's my favourite wall in the house. We have painted the rest of the room white with black curtains and accessories (lampshades, vases, picture frames, fireplace etc). We have a black carpet (which we might change to a light wood floor) and we currently have a white sofa but I am coveting a bright red one. Do it dot it do it.

We have red settees, laminate floor and a combination of clear acrylic and white gloss furniture. The room also has a dining area with maple colour dining table and cupboard.

Ah thanks. We hesitated for a bit, as we have the house up for sale and couldn't decide if it was too personal or not. It's from that wallpaper shop on Chester Road actually.
