I'd say it's fine, BUT check the bridesmaids aren't in any shade of purple, otherwise it could look as if you're trying to join them.

I think it's a lovely choice ? I think a black one in the same style would be too black for a wedding, IMO.

I like it and would definitely choose the purple- I think there may be some loose rule about avoiding black at weddings,although I could be wrong...

It's lovely! Although purple is my favourite colour so biased! It's a great length and cut for if you're going to be running around after little one too! I agree with the other ladies about not going for the black.

Haha how funny would that be! I got purple, going to dress it down a bit. If I was an evening only guest I might have gone for black and dressed it up with gold or something but I'm always prone to wearing bright colours haha! x
