I hardly ever wear jewellery so I'll struggle when it comes to looking for mine. A lovely necklace caught my eye on Moyas thread earlier . . . think its by lisaloulou.

Other than that I'm no help at all

I had the most gorgeous white pearl earrings set on a white gold disc, they were an unusual shape and the necklace (see picture) was a victorian mother of pearl brooch I bought off ebay for 8 bucks and was turned into a pendant by Mango Gems (who used to frequent here) and the chain was 3 bucks from hong kong......

necklace from Glitzy Secrets. I have the matching earrings too but I don't think that I'm going to wear them.

also Glitzy Secrets, not sure whether I'm wearing though.

Brooch belonging to my grandmother. I also have a string of pearls from my other grandmother which I am using to wrap around my bouquet and I am using the vintage clasp as part of a bracelet.

    Hi FMC,

I was just coming to see if you were any further forward with the jewellery hunt. I don't know if you saw my post on your last thread, but I had the same dilemma with the yellow gold. I've made my jewellery with freshwater pearls and swarovski crystals and have added gold heart toggle clasps. By the time the necklace is on you wont even see the clasp and you can hardly see the clasp on the bracelet either.

    Here are some pics -

Abit closer up to let you see the 'metal' on the clasp

I also meant to say, have you thought about a hairvine to put in your hair? That way you can wrap it round however you want it. I had these pics in a folder from when I was thinking of having one, you can have it made on yellow gold coloured wire -

thank you, I try to keep the prices down as I know it is an expensive time getting married. the range changes a lot and I do have access to a lot of other items if you want anything different but obviously couldn't stock it all.

miss d I had never considered hair vines before (didn't know that's what they are called!) - have you ever tried one on? how does it actually stay in your hair? is it like a comb or just pinned in? i'm quite intrigued as they look v pretty! thank u!

do you know where these pics are from?

    Hi aliaisp,

I was considering a hair vine and made one myself, I made two small loops on each end and fastened it in using grips through the loops on the ends, you could attach it to a comb, but you wouldn't be able to change the shape that much then as the middle would be attached to the comb.

It stayed in fine, you can sort of work it into your hair too, so it's pretty much in place.

No idea where the pics are from, I just collected them on one of my many googling days! (although the last one with the vine has the persons shop written across it) x
