Only had it a couple of weeks so keen to show off, have been waving it at everyone so may as well on here too!!!

My ring was made for me yes, I designed it and then OH commissioned a jeweller to make it. Having a very plain wedding band, but I think it will need to be shaped around the ER.

not a very good picture but i took it an hour after i got engaged so was too excited to take a better one

Ahh thanks everyone. have to admit the pic makes the diamond look bigger than it actually is! i wanted something a little bit different, and love the more angular shapes. they suit my chubby fingers!

And you're right autumnrose emerald and princess seem very in at the moment, but i know a lot of people who are still going for brilliant cuts too! i really love mine cos i think it looks a but more unusual but still very classic.

Yeah, we'll get my wedding band made for me. Got a couple of places in mind to visit.

I didn't really think that far down the line when I got my ring so kinda regretted it afterwards once I thought about wedding rings. Now I think it will look great with the wedding band shaped to it .
