Hi emmyroo, it's the Manor House in Co. Fermanagh. My parents had their reception there nearly 40 years ago?

We will be using the slightly newer part to the right hand side of the building - hence the more modern entrance. The entire building is just amazing.x

The actually ceremony will take place at Bled Town Hall (a converted lakeside villa) as Church weddings are not legally binding in Slovenia. Afterwards we will take a traditional rowing boat across to the island (motor boats are forbidden on the lake to preserve its peace).There are 100 steps from the boat dock to the church on the island and tradition dicatates that the groom must carry his new bride up them ? before ringing the 'wishing bell' in the church for good luck.

Serafina, I officially have venue envy!, that castle is stunning, how did you hear about it?

God help your h2b!, he's gonna need snow shoes for those steps in Feb ?
