I'm having cupcakes as wedding cakes and as favours, they only cost £2 each and the guests names will be written on them The cake that we'll be cutting is a simple lemon drizzle cake.

Not sure exactly what we will have, but will probably be loads of cupcakes. either buying direct from waitrose, or from this company (which will be more expensive, but lots prettier!)

We're getting married in December and my fiances mother is a professional cake maker (phew!). I really like the modern style of cupcake designs. I did have a picture but I can't find it now! Basically it's a large rectangular cake for the bottom (fruit) iced and dressed to look like a present. Then all higgldy piggldy piled on top will be lots of smaller presents made of gluten free chocolate cake. I got the idea from going onto google images and typing 'wedding cakes' into the search box. Sorry I don't have a picture though!!!

i love looking for cake ideas - i've got the best sister in law to be, she makes cakes so is making us a mixture of all 3 - small cakes in lilac, white & ivory made with either chocolate or lemon sponge and a top layer of fruit cake with the gerbera on but in lilac or purple!!! ?

This was mine

chocolate sponge for the top and bottom layer, middle layer was white choc and lemon sponge, made with real choc, and cost under £200

This is ours, it had over 500 iced roses on it, aparently the icing sugar used on it weighed 14 pounds alone, so i'm told! ?
