Can you spread the word and help find a missing man?

A friend of a friend has been missing for ten days after failing to reach the 5th check point on a marathon in Greece. His family are of course desperate. The latest thinking is that he's got lost, but the situation in Greece is dire and search and rescue is minimal. The government used a helicopter for 1 and a half hours, then sent it back to Athens due to financial limitations. The area he is lost in is vast and very dangerous, BUT there is water and edible vegetation, so we have to hope he CAN be found alive. This is a horrible situation and the family need help. SO, if you are on facebook please like the page "findjohnlawton" https://m.facebook.com/home.php?refid=9#!/HelpFindJohnLawton?__user=766323884 if you tweet please rt one of the @findjohnlawton tweets. The story has had minimal press coverage, if you have an account on a newspaper website, please post a comment on their article. The more responses there are, the more interest the media will take. If john had been murdered the police here would have sent a team out, as it is no help has been offered. Our mp is raising this with the foriegn office this afternoon. Hope that all makes sense x

Thank you for adding the link, I've just tried to add it to my op, but am on phone, so not sure if it's worked. His family are out there searching. His son and brother have both run the stretch he went missing on. The official search is limited so the family are relying on volunteers and publicity. I've heard there is only one sniffer dog, but I don't know if that's true. It's a truly dreadful situation.
