Can't stop myself! Derbyshire anyone?

Hi everyone, kinda new on here but I did introduce myself a while ago as I did a planning course and have been reading everything ever since! So, although me and my boyfriend aren't engaged, we know we'll get married and we've spoken about it. I'm literally obsessed with wedding planning, by the time I'm engaged I'll have the whole thing sorted! Is there anybody else from derbyshire around here? Smiley smile

    I lived in derby for 4 years and my OH is from derby but we moved to notts 3 years ago ?

    Hi! We're not booking anything yet obviously as were not engaged (I have to wait until it's the 'right time' for the question!) so it's all just ideas, from looking online though hargate hall is my favourite so far! Plenty of time I guess, were only 20! Have you got anything booked? Xx

    It is still reasonably early in our planning so juat trying to get quotes for caterers, thinking about dress etc. Lots to do! As you will be aware the venue is very diy so oots of making things!

    I think that's why I like it so much as we don't want traditional catering etc I love the idea of a diy venue!

    Ah ah that looks lovel bubblerawk, hargate is definitely my favourite so far!

    I live in Derbyshire. It's weird to say that because I'm 15 miles from Manchester, where I work and have previously lived, and I never really feel like Derbyshire should be next door, if you see what I mean?

    Sorry I've only just seen this reply! 15 miles from Manchester?! Where abouts in derbyshire is that? That's crazy! I'm about 15 miles from derby hahaha and that's the main city!

    I'm guessing you are Glossop/High Peak way. My mum lives in Hadfield way and it takes me over an hour to get there which always strike me as strange too given I'm also near Derby now
