Capri Recommendations please

We are off to Capri for a week next Friday. It's H's present for my 40th. I am ridiculously excited!

I have been a bit preoccupied, so haven't researched restaurants/cool bars/things to do etc, as I normally do before going anywhere.

Any personal recommendations?

Ooh I love Capri. We try to go for a week every year so we were there about 3 weeks ago. There is a fantastic restaurant called Da Giorgios (I think) near the main square next to the taxi rank. It's a must do as a lot of locals eat there. Villa Verde is also very good especially when it gets busy as there's a real buzz.

One other place I'd really recommend is Aurora which is really contemporary looking and beautiful food but I think it's one of the oldest restaurants on Capri.

We don't tend to do much but H normally hires a boat out and wizzes about the water Hawiaii 5-0 style (sigh) before we go to an out-of -the-way restaurant for lunch.

Are you staying in Capri or Anacapri?

My cousin is getting married there the week you are going!

Lucky you, I have much Capri envy.
