Car ribbon sets

If it's like the ones we got off eBay, once you've pulled the bows, there's long thing dangly bits of ribbon my dad just tied around the grill bit at the front and then around the door handles. The long ribbons themselves were put through the grill at the front, then stretched up over the bonnet, passed through the front doors and tied onto the rear view mirror. Dunno if that's how it's meant to be done, but it looked just fine!
