I was about to guess Vic Reeves. Rik Mayall is lovely, did you get chance to talk to him at all?

Unfortunately I didn’t. I wasn’t sure whether saying something to him would annoy him when he was just out seeing a gig. He would probably have been really cool about it but I didn’t want to shatter my illusions by him turning around and saying ‘Look, can’t I just go to a Jeff Beck gig and not get hassled???’ or something. ?

I was desperate to go up to him and just simply thank him for all the times he’s made me laugh over the years.

He did a show where my OH works and I went to watch rehearsals and he was lovely. I sat watching it for a while and he kept shouting over to see if I found it funny. How I didnt just sit giggling and blushing is beyond me! Ade was lovely too but so shy and quiet! They had a cake in the dressing room and I got to keep the knife that they used to cut it. ?

Aww...he sounds fab. Somehow I kinda knew he would be like that, but I wanted to stay mega cool so I just stood opposite and stared ?

Oh I certainly do Pipster...he was lucky I didn't see him this weekend. Him and his brother...what I wouldn't give to be sandwiched between the two of them as they shouted 'To me! To you!' ?
