Center Pieces

LooseLadie, 18 February, 2010 at 22:56 Posted on Planning 0 3

Evening,

Im trying to think of some ideas that are effective but cheap for table pieces. My local florist quoted me £25 for a like tall thin vase with some greenary and a flower or £25 for a gold fish bowl vase with a few floating flowers!

I want to try and do something nice for under £10 per table if i can, have you got any ideas or any pictures of your wedding tables??

Thank you :o)

If you wanted to go down the home-made route my friend who got married in the summer bought those goldfish bowl type centre pieces from wilkinsons for £4 each and filled them with water, floating candles, flowers etc. she didn't want to take them all home afterwards so they also served as favours as she gave them to guests to take home after the wedding. xx

Have you thought on doin some kind of bowl...maybe an ikea1...with water in and a couple of floating candles same colour as the dresses?? or white.cream candles and put food colouring the colour in the bowl with some gloating glitter/petals or something like that??

ikea vase ; https://www.ikea.com/gb/en/catalog/products/50150563/ , https://www.ikea.com/gb/en/catalog/products/50138444/ (candles burning time approx 4 hours...but sure thats all you'll need them for!!)

(and if you buy with an ikea familyu card you can get a discount as well)

you could also try ebay...some1 mite be selling off bowls/vases that they had? https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/320358263059?hash=item4a96d72913 https://www.ebay.co.uk/BathBombBiz/_i.html?_fsub=13

my venue provides a centrepiece on the table so im just using it.
