Centerpiece Help Please

Emma S, 10 January, 2012 at 21:00 Posted on Planning 0 7

Hi,

I am getting married 3rd June this year and am struggling with my centrepiece.

Ideally we would like tall twigs (we are getting married in an old barn) with fairy lights wrapped around them.

However, I am struggling to find where I can buy twigs from. I know I can go to a forest and collect them myself, but I need ones that are long.

Please help! Do you have any idea where I can get these from?

Thank you in advance!! xx

    I'm 3rd June too....

A few years ago I got twigs from Ikea, I decorated them with tiny lights instead of having a Christmas tree.....might be worth a look.....also Country Baskets, markets, Dept stores

    Yay! Another 3rd June bride!

How are you getting on with the planning?

I'm going to Ikea in Feb, so will have a look then. Thank you for the tips! x

If you are looking for bundles of twisted willow twigs, you can buy these in large bundles either at Ikea as someone mentioned or if they are out of stock for any reason, your florist can buy these easily for you from the wholesalers. They are normally around £10 a bundle retail price but you get loads and they are very tall so you can either stand them in a corner with lights on or split them up and shorten them for use in vases.
