Central London.... Shopping for accessories

AbdnBride, 10 February, 2015 at 21:49 Posted on Planning 0 6

I am planning a visit to London in a couple of weeks time and thought it would be a good chance to have a look for wedding accessories... sash, jewellery and hair accessories.

I'm looking for recommendations of where to try...ideally without an appointment.

Thanks in advance!

The only place I can think of of the top of my head is Debenhams in Oxford Circus They have a wedding jewellery and tiara section.

Oliver Laudus and Browns Bridal on Wigmore Street. There is also a Pronovias just off Oxford Street.

I too was going to suggest Debenhams on Oxford st for hair accessories. BHS on Oxford st have a small bridal section, not all stock, but some bits. (not sure if its there all year round though).

If you want 'real' jewellery, Hatton Garden is the place to go. There is also a pandora store and several other jewellery stores on Oxford st.

I went to London over the Christmas period, Debenhams as really good but there was no bridal section in BHS (on both times I went up there).

There is a wedding section in BHS on Oxford Street now (or at least, there was on Sunday!) but wouldn't say it was huge. I would say Debenhams is a good bet, though if you're on Oxford Street anyway may as well pop into BHS. Have fun!
