Centrepeice dilemma, Candelabra??

MrsP2012, 3 July, 2012 at 21:31 Posted on Planning 0 6

Hi Everyone,

I received a picture the other day from our florist of what our centrepeices are going to look like....(thank god) She did a mock up as i wasnt 100% sure about them. They are dead simple 6 ivory roses in a cube glass vase but somehow she made them look awful. Now i have totally gone of the vases and have been searching Google images for the past week for ideas.

I have now come across Candelabra's which i love. They are £15 each to hire which is fine but flowers on top of that is gonna cost far too much.

My question to you all is do you think this Candelabra would look ok on a mirror plate with some turquoise (our theme) rose petals and a scattering of crystals?? Dont want it to look too plain.

Your honest opinion please :-) xxx

I don't think it would look too plain. Classy and elegant, go for it.

It sounds lovely. You could always put candles (unlit) to match your colours.

We are having candelabras like these as they came included with the venue. We are putting them on the mirrored plates, which my mum found for a great price on www.weddingmall.co.uk and are also having the crystals and petals which she got from eBay. I think this alone would be lovely but as we are getting married near Christmas we are also getting some beads and nice baubles to hang from them. You can also get some like lines of crystals to hang from them but I'm not sure what you would call them

I love the candleabras, they are very striking! I've got another idea for the pot - my friend had candle lanterns and she put 4 x shot glasses with single roses in them in a circle around the lantern and they looked beautiful. She also saved a fortune doing it because she bought the roses from the supermarket the day before!
