Centrepiece help *flash*

sparkle52, 9 August, 2012 at 20:57 Posted on Planning 0 8

Hi all,

My first flash!

Have bought these butterfly lanterns for centrepieces but bit at a loss for what to put in them. The wedding is a garden marquee wedding, bit vintage shabby chic butterfly themed. Will be bunting and potentially paper lanterns with butterflies. The colour scheme is cornflower/dusky blue. Although this does not have to be blue, quite like pastelly/blush colours too and think would still fit even if other stuff is blue.

Figured you guys were best for providing inspiration!

Thanks in advance.

I'm afraid I'm not creative enough to suggest what to put in them but just wanted to say how lovely they are!!

    Could you use blue candles?

Wedding in a marquee, do you think candles allowed? maybe I should check!

These are lovely! Maybe you could fill them with pastel coloured flowers, with blues being the most prominent colour, like hydrangeas and sweetpeas? ?

Hmmm... I would have thought so if they are in an enclosed vase like that? I could be completely wrong though!

You can always use LED candles if you can't use flame ones. You can fill them with flowers and LED candles so they light up at night or something like that.
