Centrepiece help please

bride2b84, 14 February, 2012 at 15:32 Posted on Planning 0 13

I am having a butterfly themed wedding next summer and my colour scheme is turquoise and cream.

I have found some really nice lanterns that I am thinking of buying for my centrepieces and wondered what everyone thought of them?

Here is the link

Thanks

OMG bride2b84 these are soooooo beautiful i have to have them. My wedding is in June 2012 and i am having red and ivory i bought one they had in last year similar to this but minus the swirls and leaves was more of a straight stand and i am going to use it on my guest book table. Think i will be going to buy this one to put the opposite end of the table. Is this in recently?

Yeah I love them. Do you think they will be OK as centrepieces?

I saw them in store today and they are available online as well.

My wedding is in June 2013 :-)

Yeah i do think they will be lovely as centerpieces maybe just sprinkle some tirquoise petals around the base and clear table gems and when the little candles are lit they will look so pretty. What a fab idea. I think i will be going at the weekend to get one of these. I can just picture your tables with these on and it will look fab!!

I really like those tea light holders! If you are ordering them online there's a 20% off code when you spend £40- LONDON20 Haven't tried it so not 100% sure if it works but worth a try! x

I too had a buttefly theme. I wish I'd found your centrepieces though, they are lovely. I dont know if you have place names & others bits organised, but I had these as place names, but I added glitter around the outside as my theme colour included silver.

There is also an Aussie company that sell all manner of butterlies & insects. I used them on my cake, but they can be used for decorations all over. They are made from a think plastic, come in all different sizes, colours & shapes & were really lovely. On my cake, I folded them so the wings were up & they moved in the wind & looked almost real. They deliver to the UK also, were very helpful & included some free buterflies when I ordered.

I think they would be lovely. We are not having a butterfly theme, but our colours are turquoise and ivory, and I saw these favour boxes that I love.
