mrs jenkins 2 b, 8 September, 2011 at 15:05 Posted on Planning 0 6

Well following the balloon post,i dont know what to do for my centre piece.

i was going to buy some glass balloon weights and then do the three balloons in ivory and clear balloons. And then scaterring clear crystals on the table.

so what do you think?im getting married at 4 so will be going straight into evening reception and having a buffet.

thanksx

Mrs jenkins 2 b, im sorry i have ruined your plans by asking the dreaded question who knew it would get so many talking on another note we now know what the majority think about said idea, i am actually having rektangular vases from ikea they are 18 cm tall and am either having beargrass and floating canles in them or hand tied flowers with tealights around the outside with scatter crystals my do is also late in the day 5pm when we sit to eat hence the balloon saga, i just wanted to mix it up a bit the vaswes are under £2.00 each hope this gives you some idea x

Personally, I think this will be lovely. And, to be honest, does it really matter what everyone else on here thinks? It's your wedding day.

I know the feeling such a dillema we are having a sit down meal as in fish and chips as i wanted the guest to eat hot food to soak up the alcohol before the eve kicked in then a buffet at 9,30 so i have gone semi formal i am having a sweetie centrepeice for the kids table and seating the parents next to them in the more formal setting they are older children 8 yrs plus so can sit together without parents worrying will also have activity packs on there to keep them happy whilst speeches are being done x

who cares what other people think, it's your day xxx

I think if carefully chosen and done correctly balloons can look lovely, to be honest after an initial quick look most people forget about the centre pieces and just enjoy the day x
