Centrepieces - advice please

GemmaLouise1986, 19 July, 2010 at 11:56 Posted on Planning 0 5

Morning ladies.

I am doing my wedding on a budget (or at least attempting too!) You may have seen my previous post saying I had a quote for flowers. I have now booked the florist as I really really like them.

I didn't really talk centrepieces with them as I wasn't sure what I want. Can anyone give me any ideas or flash their centrepieces. I am wanting something relatively cheap and my colours are bright pink and black. I can't have anything too tall or big as we're only having three round tables and a top table in quite a small room.

Thanks!

My best friend had lot of little vases at her wedding which I think is a nice idea as a) it looked lovely b) it's cheaper (especially if you have your own vases or hire them) and in the evening when they put out more tables they decanted the flowers and dotted them around a bit more which gets round the whole buying loads of centrepieces idea.

Hope that helps a little xx

No pics I'm afraid but hopefully a money saving suggestion...

You could buy some cheap glass vases (from Ikea or somewhere like that) and put some pretty pink flowers in them, or you could buy a potted plant and use that. I saw some really nice Calla Lilly plants in Asda yesterday for £5, they'd look lovely.

I used plants for my centrepieces, and the added bonus is you can give them away at the end of the day as gifts.

    Hope that helps...

Something like this would cost around £10 per table:

This has just come up on a google search, it's quite simple and could be done with artificial flowers of your choice. I love pink gerberas x
