Centrepieces - flash yours :)

We have got large glass 'fish bowels' on mirror plates, and I'll prob have flower heads in them. I picked them up really cheap from gumtree, think I go 8 bowels and mirrors for £45! You could fill it with anything, x

This is a rough idea of what I'm doing for my wedding in October. I plan to add conkers and cinnamon sticks to the pine cones as well :-)

As much as I adore flowers, I have chosen not to use them at all on the tables as I want to do as much setting up as possible the night before.

We are having 6ft rectangular tables so I need something to go the length of them.

I found the beaded mats and coasters in the sainsburys sale and they suit our theme so I was well chuffed. The bowls are from dunelm (about £3/4 each) pebbles from B and M. 89p a bag, using 1/3 of a bag per table. The floating candles from amazon, scented pot candles 69p from home Bargains and the bubble tubes from Ebay. Favours, bottle table names and kids activity bags will also be on the tables.

I was going to buy organza runners but didn't see the point in the extra expenses. I'll be giving the bowls to friends and family at the end of the night I think :0)

I'm making ours! This is what I've got so far. We've also got some tall yellow vases which we've got some amazing bright blue fake lillies for, plus we've got sticks of rock and windmills. Want to try and factor a seagull or two in there too. It's all going to be a bit of a mish-mash, but I'm hoping I can pull it off!
