Ceremony Decorations

Mrs Rowan to be, 23 August, 2013 at 13:29 Posted on Planning 0 2

Hello All,

I am in need of some inspiration.

Our wedding venue is perfect for me and the OH. It is small, quite and just what we wanted it. Its a blank canvas so we can dress it up as much or as little as we like.

Where the ceremony takes place there is unfortunately a back drop of a brick wall. Now this wall looks fine when the DJ is on etc however when it has just a table in front of it with some flowers, it just looks like its missing something that little bit extra.

i have attached a couple of photos that i have found so that you get the idea of what i mean.

Any ideas on what i can do to this wall to make it less plain?

Hello, a few ideas but not sure on what style you are after...

    netting fairy lights?

    bunting?

I saw some large hanging hearts that had fairy lights in them they looked really pretty?

or the trees in pots by the door - you could put something similar either side of the table so there is something with a bit of height?

    Love the beams and chairs!!

You can hire backdrop curtains which would work. How crafty is your wedding? There's all sorts like pom-poms or bunting etc that people often make themselves. Depends what overall look you'd like Smiley smile

I would buy/hire some trees. Simple and lights can be added if needed x
