Hi all,

I've just found Halo by Beyoncé in a classical version by Aston on u tube - what do you think for walking down the aisle and signing the register?

Is this for a civil ceremony? I'd check with the registrar that the lyrics would be acceptable.

    I think is beautiful!

I would never have it but just because OH is absolutely averse to Beyonce, so she's banned from the wedding, hehe.

I was thinking of having that played at my wedding, but I'm torn between that and a Signor Ros instrumental song that my partner likes. hummm

Im thinking of having a thousand years by Christina peri played by the string quartet during walking up the isle.

Although i'm torn as I would like this as our first dance song too? Maybe both?

I was thinking of ... 'It's all about you' by McFly :p I know it sounds a bit infantile but we (me and my significant other) are very childlike too. What do you think?

Sounds like a lovely piece of music! Will you have it played live or recorded?

I can't decide. The pianist playing for me, Simon Jordan, will play anything - and he's put a long list of music his clients have requested at http://www.pianistwedding.co.uk/what-other-people-chose - there's so much inspiration there!!!

I am so glad I posted here - it's given me the positivity I needed to go with Halo - DF doesn't like Beyoncé as much as me but don't think he'll notice! I also love a thousand year and 'it's all about you is a lovely one! oooohhh I'm so chuffed I've actually made a decision!
