Chair Covers

I Ordered my chair covers and sashes off ebay, £125 for 100 chair covers and 100 sashes, they are sending them to my house by courier a few days before the wedding and then they are coming back to pick them up. Its worth looking on ebay, I can also give you the name of the seller on ebay if you like, good luck!

Just one thing to bear in mind - make sure you have plenty of time to put the chair covers and sashes on. They take around 2 minutes each.

That doesnt' sound a lot, but if you've got 120 chairs that's 4 hours!

It's worth paying a bit extra to have them fitted if you can afford it.

Dont know where you live but I found a good place bowshire. check out their website, there were cheaper than the place our venue recommended.

Indeed! I did toy with the idea of getting them fitted but if I do it then I know its done how I want it, so far I have about 10 volunteers aswell as myself to go down there and do them in the morning (not getting married till 3.30pm) so id rather save the money, besides I think I will need to keep busy on the day or I will drive myself mad! x

We are based in Bristol but travel all over the Uk.

I agree with Debbie it is not as easy as it looks & is time consuming! Also bear in mind they will be very creased when they arrive in a box. Most venues also won't let you in until the morning of the wedding so you will have to have a lot of helpers to put them on.

Not sure what area you are from but Im from Kent I actually get the chair covers thrown in with my package so just needed to get the sashes, gonna use a company called cherrytree event works about 50p per sash for just supply or £1.00 to supply and fit. They told me to check with my venue as some venues will put them on for you and good thing as mine will do this for me so saved some money. You should check and see if your venue will do the same!

I also was gonna use bowshire as they have some really lovely covers and are quite reasonable but unfortunately they dont do just the sashes.

Thanks for all your advise ladies, i would like to save money and have the chair covers + sashes fitted by myself + friends but we wont know till nearer the time, whether a wedding has taken place the day before hence not being allowed in the venue till the morning of the wedding. I also dont wanna be stressing so gonna leave it to the professionals. The venue is in Reading, Berkshire and still cant find any chair brooches, so thinkin of buying some cheap ones from Primark + askin the supplier to fit them or 1 of the wedding party on the morning, if we'r allowed.
