Champagne bridesmaid dresses

MrsB-to-be, 5 December, 2012 at 22:53 Posted on Planning 0 13

We have a very neutral colour scheme for our wedding, with quite a vintagey (ish) theme!

Thinking about going for champagne bridesmaid dresses as this colour ties in quite nicely (and I've given up on sage)... do you think they generally look better knee length or full length? My 3 bmaids range from 16yrs to 25... all slim ladies, two tall and one petite Smiley smile

xx

Btw... Daffodilwaves, I LOVED the wedding you photographed that was on RMW. I was going to g for the coast dresses the girls wore in it as they looked beautiful, but sadly not everyone liked them! Stunning wedding (and stunning photos!) though Smiley smile

Aww thank you so much MrsB-to-be. I loved that day.

She went for the Two Birds one like this. That way they can wear them as they please. This is an Ibiza wedding too so she wanted something floaty.

My best mate just got married and we had champagne dresses from coast. They were gorgeous. She changed the balck belts for brown ribbon which softened the look a lot. They fitted all of us great and even those of us with tummy fears felt comfortable even sitting down. They were a little large in the bust area but with a bit of tit tape we were good to go - with no sewing alterations for any of us.

Shoes were from Debenhams debut range. And again we all found we could wear them no problem.

    Hope this is useful

Oh I should say for the girls that wanted long dresses (those with toddlers) they had long dark brown that matched our ribbons. You can see them in the background of the pics

My bridesmaids are in Champagne, we opted for knee length Satin Dresses from Karen Millen, but champagne is a very hard colour to match. I gave up matching my Juniors to my adults and so we are having Tones of Champagne in keeping with our Neutral and Pink blush romantic theme 'thingy'

I wore a champagne colour bridesmaid dress for my brother's wedding recently, colour worked really well with the flowers and everything else, it was beautiful, so good choice.

    Pic attached!

Don't know when you're getting married but the colour worked perfectly with the autumn season! x

Coast searched the country for stores with the dresses in stock for my friend and then they shipped them all to one store for her to collect.
