Changing name

HI everyone

Can anyone give me some advice please I need to change my name on passport to married name can I send a certified copy of my marriage cert or does it have to be the original?

    Sorry not sure on that one. Try the website for passports, or give the passport office a ring, that should confirm for you. I'm travelling in my maiden name and sending my passport off once I'm home when I have more time, so haven't checked into that as yet.

    My gut is saying original as I've had to send original birth certificates etc before.
