    I won!!!!!! yeeehawwwwwwwwwwwwww!

Well, I never thought i'd spend 20 quid but they match the brooch that Whitefairy has put into my hair comb. It can either be a brooch or dress clips and I intend to wear them as clips on the shoulders of my dress. The weight will also hold them down over my shoulders hopefully. (If it doesnt work out you can buy them off me Fairy, LOL.) I had my grandmothers dress clips on my prom dress but mums not sure they are worth using now but these are sooo sparkley..

They were a wonderful accessorie during the 30s, 40s and 50s. You could get them in pairs or on their own, ideal for slipping in fur stoles and shawls at glamourous occassions.. plus as this pair double as a brooch its two items for one. I am a bit concerned that one seller has advertised theirs as 'brooch with earrings' as the clips have sharp studs on them to grip to fabric and I wouldnt wear them in my ears!

Ooo good question but sadly no. Got my first hair trial booked in April. I think I'll be having a few as I told my hair dresser I'm after more 'stage n screen' than bridal up-do. I've got a load of pics to print off and give her so she can get an idea and maybe a few practises in before i turn up. Went to see Valkyrie last night and was paying attention to the womans hair, as much as I'd like to have my hair down my dress would get in the way and I'd have problems wearing my comb!... My CBM loved it though and I'll be taking it to the bridal shop to let them see too.... tis funny name dropping people like yourself as if I know you really really well, lolol.
