Cheap but nice Cava?

HaloHoney, 24 August, 2009 at 09:41 Posted on Off Topic Posts 0 2

I'm looking for some bubbly for a christening - needs to be for about 60 people.

Does anyone know of any nice Cava (sainbuggers, Tesco and the like) that is under £4 a bottle?

How many bottles would I need?

I'm crap at this organising malarkey. I knew there was a reason I paid someone to think about this for me when I got married ?

?

The Sainsbury's one is fine (got gold label or gold lettering on the label maybe??). We have switched though from Cava to Prosecco. Aldi do a Prosecco for about £4, it is great and often recommended in magazines etc - that would be what i would choose

I quite like Tesco and Morrison's Cava but I think both are over £4 a bottle but less than £5. M&S did have 25% off 6 bottles and theirs is ok but not sure the offer is still on.

Ahhh Prosecco is a great idea - if I can get it for the right price that would be lovely.
