Cheap evening invitations - HELP!

sacha1987, 15 May, 2012 at 16:51 Posted on Planning 0 13

Afternoon Fellow brides 2 be!!

I have just over 2 months left to go now, and I haven't yet found my evening wedding invitations. Everything seems really expensive, but I can't find any card blanks with patterns on - I want them to be nice as my day invitations were lovely pocketfolds. I just can't find anything nice enough to suit my budget.

I'm going to need about 65 invitations, and don't want to pay more than £30 (a bit extra if there's a delivery charge). I know that sounds cheap, but I am really on a strict budget.

I'd be really grateful of any help anyone can give me, links to useful diy ideas or pretty card blanks.

Thanks in advance lovelies x ?

How about just some lovely flat ones from Vistaprint? Or can you design them yourself if you have something like photoshop? I've designed all of mine using a template from www.weddingchicks.com and my much loved photoshop!

Have you considered buy them off the shelf?... I was in a card shop the other day and they had packs of 10 evening invitations marked down to £1.50, they were really nice.

I got my evening ones from vistaprint, I got postcards as they were the cheapest. 100 cost me £3.60 for delivery. And they actually look really professional. Smiley smile

I signed up to partypop.com and ordered invites from there, they do them for you for free.

I just adjusted mine for the reception rather than the actual ceremony as there was only a limited amount of styles and non really matched our theme.

They came within a week, with envelopes (although this had a logo on) and were really good quality.

I really recommend you check them out!

They also give you a free wedding website but we dont use this

I would recommend www.yourinvitations.net The Laser Cut Collection

They have beautiful and cheap invitations compare to the other shops.

We used lightinthebox for ours. I was looking for something completely different, then came across them and thought they were just perfect for us!
