Check your Sky box planner

Sairedy, 5 February, 2009 at 07:01 Posted on Off Topic Posts 0 6

Not sure if this is just me but I just went to look at my planner for something and nearly all of my series link programmes had gone apart from two!

I've started setting them up again as I didn't want to leave it to chance that Sky would sort it out!

Hope this doesn't affect anyone else but go and check!

I have a love hate relationship with my sky+ , I love how easy it is to use but my series links sometimes disappear too - not all at once, but sneakily so I don't notice that it's stopped recording a series.
I think my box is on its way out - certain channels are all jumpy and freeze alot.
Luckily I'm moving home soon, will have to see if there are any good offers on for a new subscription.

You're box might not be done for yet - sky+ seems to have weird quirks, so hopefully it will be ok. Smiley smile

All okay at the moment but ours has done this before. Very irritating. Ours also started doing the freezing thing and we thought it was on its way out but it just stopped doing it one day and appears to be fine now! They're very temperamental things it would seem!

Does yours ever part record a programme, blaming a 'clash' when there was nothign else recording at the time?
It is a fab bit of technology, but can be so temperamental!

My Sky+ has started to do this too, although its a recently replaced box (the last one went tits up and I have insurance to replace it). I'm also getting things recorded but they won't play which is really starting to do my head in. Don't know how I lived without it but it is so tempermental!

I received a letter/flyer recently about Channel 5 programmes needing to be re-series linked because of a change in transmitter or something like that.
