Cheese and Crackers

Suzie&Karl, 6 May, 2012 at 11:28 Posted on Off Topic Posts 0 11

Ok, so its my dads birthday on wednesday, he asked for Pjs so i got them.

But i also got him a box of mixed cheese from Tesco with some nice crackers. Is there anything else that i could get to go with the cheese and crackers that anybody could think of? Im not into that type of thing so i dont know.

He already has a cheese board by the way

Cricks would be the one to recommend particular ports - I just love 'em all!

Chutney wise - local farmer market places tend to be good or I just tend to get the 'posh' range from whichever supermarket I'm in.

A really nice chutney, we buy ours from our local farm shop so can't help on brands. One that we get is a honey roasted cherry tomato and it's gorgeous! Mmm, could really eat some cheese and crackers just now, cheese is banned as I have zero time to lose another half a stone!!

Definitely a chutney for me - red onion, chilli and beetroot are great choices - especially with strong cheddar.

Sainsburys do lovely 'posh' range chutneys, my fave is a caramelised onion one.
