Chelsmford hairdresser recs

I love shoes, 3 May, 2009 at 11:54 Posted on Off Topic Posts 0 5

Having just moved I now need to do the horrendous task of finding a new hairdresser

Any one got any recs for someone that does wonders with mayhem hair but doesnt cost a small house...

I have a just below shoulder length dark brown frizzy, dry end greasy root, flyaway mop so if anyone has similar and it has been tamed please let me know

Well I only have cut and blow dry, never had coloured etc but I go to headhunters on springfield road. Young girl called Lindsay is good. Its about 25 or 30 for a cut and blow dry. It's a very "local" kind of place, def not an upmarket salon :o)

Is Rochford to far to travel as I could recommend a place and stylist there? But I presume you're looking a little closer?

Haven't lived there for some time now (probably 5yrs?). BUT there was Barnet Fayre on the green, looks a bit old fashioned but a friend used to have her hair cut there and it looked lovely (naturally curly which not all hairdressers can deal with). There is also the one Michael something- just off the green- St John's road I think. I know there is a hitcher who used to go there regularly and raved about it. I went a couple of times but they didn't suit me, I found him very difficult to chat with and I felt he gave me the hairstyle he wanted rather than the one I wanted.

I used to go to the salon in Cannons- great because you could park for free and it had a nice atmosphere.

A bit out of date but it may help.
