Chiffon or Satin?

My dress is satin and the BMs are chiffon. I never even gave it a thought but I don't think it looks odd....

OK, think I am going to just get the BM dresses I want then. I have 5 bridesmaids all different shapes and I think Chiffon will flow nicer and it looks floaty like a princess :-) xx

I quite agree, chiffon is more forgiving. Any flashes of your dress? I am biased because I love lace dresses ?

I think that will look fine, I've seen it done plenty of times and it always looks nice. Chiffon is so beautiful as well, I have way too many chiffon dresses to count! I agree with Aly J, would love to see a flash of your dress! Lace dresses are my favourite!

Loving your dresses alyj. I'm wanting a lace dress with longer style sleeves (don't like my upper arms)

To the op I don't think it would silly at all and chiffon hides all those lumps and bumps better!

My dress is with the seamstress at the minute as I'm having the back changed to half lace up, once it's out then I'll take some pics. I've post them before but I keep tinkering with it!

I would go with what will flatter the BM, so chiffon is ma vote! Looks fabby

I'm not going to be original, but this is your day! If you like a bridesmaids dress don't even think of choosing a different one because of the fabric. How many times it happens that stylists tell us how to compose the outfit and personally, I would never wear it! Hope you get my point

I like either Sorella Vita or Alfred Angelo BM dresses. Going to pick whatever I like rather than what 'goes' xx
