Children at your wedding? :)

MrsParsons2b, 25 October, 2010 at 18:29 Posted on Planning 0 2

Hi Girls,

What are you doing for the kiddie-winks at your wedding?
We're thinking of 'gift' bags packed with activities as all the children are close family

also thinking of doing a little childrens area!

Any little touches your adding? Smiley smile xxx

I take my son to playgroup at our church and the woman who runs it is setting up a kids area for us with quiet toys lol.

At the reception we are having boxes for each kid containing pictures to colour in, crayons, bubbles and a few little party toys to keep them occupied. We're also having a sweetie buffet (I am still maintaining it is for the kids and not my sweet tooth lol)

I am thinking of having a bouncy castle! But i am sure some of the 'big kids' will end up playing on it too!

We are going to set up a table in the corner with portable dvd player & selection of dvds. Ds and games. Colouring books, pens & pencils...

I have also requested that all parents bring their own kids things along. So hopfully we will have enough to entertain them if they get a little bored in the evening.

The last doo we went to we took the dvd player and we ended up with about 10 children crowded around our table. It was fab, they were so quite and relaxed for ages.
