I'm creating little goody bags for the children at my wedding to try and keep them entertained during the wedding breakfast. I've included colouring books and crayons, little puzzle things, and various other little quiet toys. However in poundland the other day I couldn't resist buying fairy wand glow sticks and swords for the kiddies which I thought would be great in the evening. I've also bought some glow stick bracelets which I thought would look cool in the evening and entertain the kids.
I'm not sure how long glow sticks last, but if they snap them during the wedding breakfast surley they will have run out for the evening do? So, my question is how do I ask the kids to use them in the evening only? I thought about possibly wrapping them up and saying to be opened in the disco only, or I could get the best man or usher to hand them out to the children on the evening perhaps?
What do you all think? They were too cool for me not to buy them :-)
