childrens entertainer?

yummymummy05, 27 February, 2010 at 09:44 Posted on Planning 0 1

Is anyone else having/thinking of having one?

We have about 10 kids coming to the ceremony with a few more in the evening.

I'm contemplating having one as i dont want kids screaming or getting bored during the ceremoney and speeches. My son will be nearly 5.

can anyone recommend anyone in the north west? or do think its a bad idea

I've seen it on a number of occasions and it works very welll. For day time minding it will mean hiring another room for the children though. Another alternative is asking your DJ to do a children's spot early evening..... I myself do this and there are a number of the wedding DJ association guys that do it too (and it works out much cheaper). I'm afraid it doesn't help with during the day and speeches though. One of those DJs covers the north west if you want to get in touch and have a chat www.weddingdja.co.uk

I've been to several weddings where they've had a childrens entertainer and it has gone down great. All the children loved it and as it gave all the parents a break they did too lol. They usually need a seperate room though as they often brings props and other entertaining items.
