I have tried the honeycomb one, the honeycomb just melts inside the batter when cooked..so basically can only do honeycomb in the icing!

This might seem a bit odd, but I have heard chocolate bacon cupcakes are Amazin. Weird, I know! But...

Im veggie myself so haven't tried them, but I am quite tempted to make some for OH.

Personally I love chocolate and orange. Or chocolate and beetroot. Also tried (again its going to sound weird, but stick with me!) chocolate and mustard chocolate the other day and it was pretty good! Also a face is choc cherry. Mmmmmm.

I did chocolate and pistachio nut for work people the other day and they went down very well.

Off the top of my head and without reading other replies (sorry) chocolate and coconut, oreo, marshmallow, orange, toffee, raspberry, strawberry, banana, cappucino, mint choc chip, caramel, biscuity/rockyroad type... must go to shops for chocolate right now!

White chocolate and lime is lovely, I had this flavour for my wedding cake the lime sets off the sweetness perfectly!

Not cupcakes but I've been known to make brownies with malibu & coconut (bounty!) and also amaretto, liquid marzipan

i guess this is along the lines of key lime pie flavours!! yum!!

I've not had key lime so not sure it was a very subtle lime hint to it in the cake mix. It was a full blown cake but I'm sure it could be converted to a cupcake easily enough

Just come across Nigella's chocolate & guiness cake that sounds interesting & could be done as cupcakes. Will be giving that a try soon.

Re the chocolate & beetroot, Hugh Doobrey-Whatsit-Thingamebob does chocolate brownies with beetroot in them, they are lovely!
