A hitcher (although not seen regularly lately) called 2become1 wqs a supplier of these. A couple of years back, these fountains were very popular although it looks like they have fallen out of fashion a bit of recent times.

This company are based in Bedfordshire I recall and will cover your area....

    Hello

We were terribly old fashioned and had a chocolate fountain at our wedding and people absolutely loved it. I have no idea if the cooking oil theory is true, but if it is then it doesn't affect the taste at all and health wise can't be much different to having fish and chips once in a while!

We got married in Sheffield and used this company

    http://www.thefonduefantasycompany.co.uk/

They were very helpful but a little snotty on thr night when we were running behind schedule, but despite that I'd still recommend them as the choice of snacks and the set up was great and they provide 2 members of staff to show you how to use the fountain without dropping it over yourself.

Um, not a theory. It often affects the taste (plus if you ever see it being made up I guarantee it's make you feel a bit ?) but it's one of those wedding things that is a matter of personal taste. If you want one go for it, just because some (myself included) wouldn't touch them with someone elses cocktail stick doesn't make it some sort of hideous choice. You're certainly miles better of with a supervised fountain.

Besides which the OP didn't ask for anyone's opinion on the rights and wrongs of chocolate fountains, she asked for supplier recommendations so I'll keep my full feelings on them ️?️

I think maybe some of the wedding planners could recommend suppliers they have worked with and there is one listed in your area in the Hitched supplier list above.

A bit like when I saw Jamie Oliver showing us how chicken nuggets were made! ? Took me years to touch them again but as with choc fountain idea, when I have a hangover I figure a mc Donalds chicken nugget ain't gonna harm me that much.

I also agree that the OP didn't ask for opinions which is why I added my supplier who will do the Derbyshire area and my report that my guests did love it.

    Hi,

I saw one at a wedding fayre on sunday last week. They where charging for 120 - 150 guests £450.00, using white, milk or dark belgiam chocloate. I don't like them but this did taste lovely, it comes with 2 operators. They are in cheshire and the info sorry is at home, will fish it out later. My mum told me thorntons do them though as my step sister is having one from there.

I was going to have a fountain, but after going to a chinese buffet restaurant last week and observing some of the habits of some folk, children and adults I have changed my mind! YUK, one word ... unhygienic!

Which is why it's a good idea to have a company who provide operators to oversee the fountain is used properly.
