Chocolate Lollies for Favours?

laraluv42, 12 January, 2009 at 12:13 Posted on Planning 0 17

Hiya,

Can anyone recommend anywhere where they do choc lollies that I might be able to use for favours. I'm thinking in a sort of wedding related shape possibly? I feel like I've seen some pink coloured ones somewhere that would be perfect... help?!

Thanks guys, Just having a look through these.

After looking at these I think I've set my heart on pink coloured heart lollies, hope I'm not being a bit too specific!

Trish seems to have them but they have things written on them, I'll give her a shout maybe & see if she can do them without

    Hmmm,

these are quite reasonably priced. But they're not pink! I suppose maybe I could settle for a white choc one, it says they will do the ribbon in your colour scheme.

    That was me!

Yep very pleased with them. I added my own ribbon and a small tag with our names and wedding date on them.

    Fingers crossed this picture works:

oh my god, they look brilliant! I think I'll have to get these ones now. Did you just buy the little tags or did you cut them out yourself? I have invested in a guillotine for the wedding so I'm prepared!

I'm also v impressed with your ribbon tying skills xx

Arh thanks! I tied over 100 of them so I was well practised by the end. ?

I printed the tages out on card myself and then cut them up. A guillotine is a must if you are making your own stationery, we used ours loads. I then used a single hole punch to make the hole. I bought the single hole punch from Partners for less than £2 and found it much easier than guessing with a standard double hole punch.

The ribbon I bought from Hobbycraft and it matched other ribbon used on our invitations, table plan, save the date cards and table place names.

I also made the cellophane wrap around each lollipop a bit tighter by adding a piece of sellotape to the back so that you could see the heart shape better and to make it neater.

The lady at AngelBake was really nice and sent me some samples before we made an order.

If you need anymore help or info just PM me. I think that I might have the name tag template somewhere if you would like it.

    HTH
